87840. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/F.Dodd. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn6/H13.1.33. re. WEIGHT OF 40/50 CHASSIS. We thank you for your memo, Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}1/KT.12.1.33. showing approximately how the increase of 130 lbs. is made up. We would point out, however, that there is still some further weight to be accounted for inasmuch as 130 lbs. referred to compares the long frame chassis of twelve months ago with the short frame chassis of today. According to our weights, the approximate difference between the long frame and short frame chassis is somewhere 30 lbs. This amount therefore requires to be added to the 130 lbs. difference in our present weight over that of twelve months ago. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn. | ||
