Dear Sirs,

Re: Ph.III Hydraulic Jacks.

We thank you for your letter of the 21st inst. in connection with the fitting of our jack rams on the front of the Phantom III car in a position between the lower triangles and the independent springing.

We are despatching to you immediately two rams similar to those at present fitted to the rear of the chassis, but with their outer sleeves threaded all the way to enable any adjustment to be obtained with the locking rings. Probably these rams will have arrived before you receive this letter.

In connection with this modified front fitting perhaps you will let us know what flexible connections you require to complete the installation and we can then put these in hand, and also if any special pipe line fittings are required.

With regard to the blue prints of the Pump General Arrangement which we despatched to you a few days ago, we are sending you a further two prints today as we understand the former have been mislaid. We should be glad, however, if you could trace the first two prints as we are anxious that the details of the pump do not get into the wrong hands.
