Since dictating the above, I have just read the Repair Department's memo on 25HP. springing, which I note you have not received a copy of, and I am therefore attaching a copy, as it covers the same ground as that which we have discussed and arrives at similar conclusions as my own, and it should be remembered that the Repair Department have acquired considerable experience in regard to trying to meet customers requirements, in changing springs and varying poundages of dampers, and their conclusions therefore carry even more weight than my technical reasoning arguments.
