Rear Engine Suspension
Cente Floorboard.
Rippletto.

On PL.192 herewith, we show the designs of the engine rear suspension for Rippletto.

On the 4 cylinder engine suspensions we suggest that to start with it is a good idea to copy the best suspension we know for the 6 cylinder.

This scheme also shows the modifications to the centre floorboard of the senior rationalised range which are necessary to suit the Hillman Box.

The Hillman has a large rubber cover and tower but we do not think this will be altogether suitable in our case.

We have shown the metal body on to which we attach the leather gaiter which could be tied round the gear lever.

This should stop most of the noise from the gearbox entering the car.

Enclosed 4 copies of memo.
2 Prints of PL.192.
