We hope that progress has been made to supply the pads all one height. I have not yet received the drawing from Mr. Day.

On examination of the Michelin jack, we find it has an extension, which is excellent for general purposes, and as it is, would serve its purpose thoroughly well, but the whole jack is about 2" too high for 895 wheels and our front axle. Can we get one as near as possible the same in every respect, but 10" high instead of 12". The extension should be exactly the difference between the pads on the front and back axles.

The handling would then be as follows. The jack is carried on the car and screwed to its lowest position; for a front axle it is quite ready.
