FAILURE OF FLYWHEEL ON 8-Cyl.CARS

Will you please investigate the repeated failure of the flywheel on 30 G.VII.

We should first like you to go into the material, and see if Mr. Knagg of the Iron Foundry can recommend anything that is less likely to crack under the conditions of heat.

If no great improvement is to be expected, we should like a recommendation as to what design modifications we should make to overcome the trouble.
