Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} c. to BJ. +50.10 R3/M24.4.28. INDIA 3. RE. LEC.2546. X.5000 X.5010 We do not anticipate any great change in the crankchamber, so that duralumin caps and studs for bearings and cyl. block should be adopted at once. Regarding lubrication, 3 holes into crankshaft seem good - i.e. 120°, and use the bottom hole as shewn, or carry a groove around until sufficiently steady pressure into the crankshaft.
