-3- (19) Rear shock dampers are to be as on SpectreCodename for Phantom III II. (20) The front suspension casings should be made in cast aluminium bronze for these 12 chassis. (21) The ratio of the hand brake levers should be 60 to 1, as per R.Sch.4639. (22) Side spare wheel carriers to be as per Lec.4445. (23) The inner levers of the front suspension are to be modified as per R.Schs. 4634 and 4635. (24) A tap should be arranged on the suction side of the petrol filter to prevent petrol syphoning out of the tank. (25) The Experimental Department recommend Mark VI. matrix but since we have already got Mark V.{VIENNA} matrices for these 12 chassis, we propose to use them up unless Experimental Department consider otherwise. (26) 7" diameter air intake carburetter silencers to be fitted. (27) The change speed gearbox should be fitted with MG gears, and the gearbox should have ball bearings throughout, as per R.Sch.4645, except for the back end of the side shaft which should have a roller bearing. (28) Rear axle pinion shank to have a taper of 1 in 8, and with stronger keys as per R.Sch.4651. Will you please deal with the above, and issue instructions as soon as possible, and if there are any items still held up and not already dealt with, please let us have particulars of same.
