BENTLEY 50. OIL FILLER, ENGINE BREATHER & OIL DIPSTICK.

Please receive herewith

E.CD.512 Oil Filler Breather Pipe and Dipstick - Bentley 50.

The filler is located on the nearside of the engine which is the dry side as regards oil throw from crankshaft, and also the more convenient side when filling. The hinged filler cap is the one standardised for oil and petrol fillers for all our cars.

As the oil level indicator for this engine will be an electrical device, readable on the instrument patch, we have shown a dip stick for use when filling the engine and also in case of failure of the electrical recorder, as they do not appear to be too reliable.

The correct markings for oil levels on the dip stick will be shown on the sump drawing which will be issued later.
