X7830 With reference to HO6/EBN13.2.29 (2) We agree that the top of the scuttle shewn on F.79578 is too close to the aft edge of the dash and coach-builders should be asked to provide more clearance at this point. We cannot see any disadvantage in (1). With regard to (3), if the body is held down rigidly there should be little or no vertical movement at this point and we have had no trouble with chattering. We think, however, that it would certainly be advisable to modify the water lip on the dashboard to allow for the subframe mounting where the movement vertically at this point will almost certainly be greater.
