(8) There is a lever called 'B' - i.e. pull rod from servo. This lever looks heavy towards the hub, and also the bushed end with bolt seems a lot of it. Could this be calculated and made just safe for the 500 lbs. or whatever it is?

(9) Lighten everything possible by substituting aluminium, and cutting down dimensions, and using thin sheet metal, because our weights have been going up lately and our costs ought not to be any higher than is absolutely necessary.

(10) I cannot see any fault that should affect the working but the risk of inaccurate alignment through so many reasons, including slack diameters with the pedal pull. As suggested above this lever might have its boss inside the bearing if thought wise. Pull would have less effect on the alignment; slacks would help it rather than make it worse.
