We prefer to use the mild steel brake carriers in place of the Duralumin. We find that Duralumin brake carrier plates were tried out on the original F.2 and had to be discarded for mild steel, because of them being unsatisfactory. We should therefore like all future cars to have mild steel brake carriers.
