HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 6032. E1/M15.1.32. X.6032 C. to SG.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} CX.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} C. to PN.{Mr Northey} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} High Frequency Electric Horn. Re. your memo. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/WST2/ADL3132., we have arranged for EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} to ascertain Sales views on this subject, with a view to putting forward some agreed recommended policy. It does however appear at the moment that a vibrator horn in a forward position arranged in some neat way relative to the number plate and apron would meet Sales views, in particular with regard to J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3., and would be capable of giving both an effective overtaking signal, and a sufficiently gentle signal for town use.
