All letters must be addressed to the Company, not to individuals For the attention of Mr. Hives. Dear Sirs, Ref. Sparking plugs for Phantom II. You will recollect that we developed a Model MC3, mica plug fitted with our weatherproof detachable terminal, for your Phantom II. engine. The writer understands that these plugs have satisfactorily passed your tests and that you have approved them as standard fitting to the Phantom II. engine. We are, however, still receiving orders from you for the old type Model C. steatite plug, and up to the moment of writing we have never received an order from you for the new type Model MC3. We think the Model MC3. is such a very much better plug for the Phantom II. engine, and we hope you will see your way to fit it in future in place of the Model C. hitherto fitted. Yours faithfully, LODGE PLUGS LIMITED, [Signature] DIRECTOR [Handwritten number at top: 84425] [Stamp: RECEIVED 30 JUN 1931] | ||
