ORIGINAL To R.{Sir Henry Royce} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} c. to Sr. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Ba. L. c. to Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} BOOMS ON 25 HP. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson}4/MJ. 8.12.30. V634. Attached herewith please find report ref: Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GR.{George Ratcliffe}2/MJ. 8.12.30. These tests have been conducted with the car stationary, driving the rear wheels through dynamometer drums with a separate power unit. It is a coincidence that we find a boom in the exhaust at almost exactly the same speed as a vibration in the engine. Having separated the two, we should be able to make progress.
