Dear Sir,

Bulk Supply - Development Purposes.
Your Letter Dated 10th April.

I thank you for your letter as above and wish to state that whilst I entirely appreciate the importance of the work being carried out by your firm, I would point out that it is most unusual for supplementary petrol to be authorised for such long journeys as visiting Bath, Southampton and Portsmouth, by road.
Admiralty
It is suggested that a certificate showing authority in support of these journeys by road would satisfactorily decide the matter.

I shall be glad therefore if you will take this action accordingly.

Yours faithfully,

B M Cockshott

Lt.Colonel.
Divisional Petroleum Officer.
