A.T. SPEEDOMETERS.

With reference to the question of improving the speedometer drive, that is, the attachment between the flex and the instrument to overcome rattles, they seem to have made a decent job of the connection this time, following out our proposal of using a square for taking the drive at both ends.

The instrument itself is of the old type. You will have noticed from Roy {Sir Henry Royce} 's memo that they have not yet been able to complete their schemes for improving the gear and detail work generally, but that they are working on this andhope in the near future to supply an instrument which will satisfy us.
