Re the Rear Brake Mechanism.

Let us make a special endeavour to obtain an expanding piece of the present design but with narrower centres, I think that the present arrangement of double brakes so good that we ought to persevere with a view of increasing the rigidity and lightening the weight and more efficiently catching the oil.

I should also like to see a drawing of the application of these brakes to wire wheels.

I presume that the modifications necessary to adapt these brakes to the lighter axle with its smaller axle tubes is already completed.
