(4) Steering continued

(a) Existing steering cam tube modified to incorporate Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}352 as on 32-EX. Length to suit 39-EX.

(e) Bottom support bracket to FW.908.

(f) Eccentric adjusting sleeve FW.906.

(g) Outer column tube black stove enamelled, dia. and gauge as at present and length to suit 39-EX. with FW.906/8.

(h) One piece cover FW.907.

(i) Bijur coil for lubricating pendulum lever ball pin as model in Shop.

(j) Roller follower to Ransome & Marles drawing B.10024 supplied by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer} This will necessitate spotfacing jaws of rockershaft.

(k) Excess metal removed from rockershaft externally as on N.Sch.5041. Internal boring increased in dia. as in N.Sch.5043 in large portion of bore only.

(l) Adjustable side steering tube with front joint to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}338 exactly as on 26.G.V1. Length to suit 39-EX.

(m) Adjustable cross steering tubes with centre joints to N.Sch.4966 and outer joints as centre joint on N.Sch.4849. All ball pads to be in BZ/PD.

(n) Front suspension yokes to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}383 to give ½° castor.

(5) Clutch pedal servo N.Sch.5195. RR.Sch.1113 Spring F.89637.

(6) Lockheed jacks on all four wheels. The front brackets to be the forged Dural ones that ran on 35-EX.

(7) Rear Axle 8/34 ratio new gears. The pinion to have a hardened nose. The half shafts should be those now running in 32-EX. Pinion bearing now in 32-EX. Wheel drivers to part 3 of N.Sch.5139. Hubs G.85587/8 suit these drivers and alum brakes.

(8) 7" deflection front springs. Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} will provide. Threaded rear shackles.

(9) Prop. shaft Hardy Spicer type now on 37-EX.
