BJ4/H11.12.22.

The works are only producing the present Bendix Drive in sufficient quantities to keep out-put going. In some cases the whole 250 sets of pieces are finished.

It is not intended now, however, that we should delay the out-put at all for the new Bijur Bendix Drive.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} is expected to be at Derby early next week. As soon as ever we get the complete information from him which will enable the design to be definitely decided upon and also, when we have received signed standardisation sheets which are at present going round, we will then let you know the number of cars which will have to be produced before this improvement can be incorporated.
