We are concerned about the information you give, and gather:- (a), That the Works are holding up all parts affected by this drive; (b) That there may be a very considerable delay before EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} returns with full particulars. You then design, make, and test and approve the final drive. Will you please consult with Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} and let us know how long you think it will be before the new drive is in production and how many chassis will come through before then, and if the introduction of the new drive is likely to cause any delay in output of chassis.
