RE PEREGRINE WHEELS & TYRES.
With reference to recent conversation regarding Small Diameter Tyres, we propose ordering:-
1 set of 5 wire wheels 18" diameter, suitable for 5.50" tyres.
1 set of 5 ditto 17" diameter, suitable for 6.00" tyres.
We attach hereto a copy of a letter we received yesterday from Messrs Dunlop, from which it will be noted that the moulds they have in hand for the 17" 6.00" tyres are of the "Fort" Triple Stud type (not "Silent" type.)
Please advise if this will be suitable for your test purposes.
Roy.{Sir Henry Royce}
