Re Faulty Batteries.

Referring to yours Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} 2/Wl1.1.23, we are in receipt of a letter from the Chloride Electrical Storage Co.Ltd. dated 8th inst. as follows:-

"We are in receipt of your letter confirming the
"arrangement made with Mr McKinnon on his visit to
"your Works on the 10th ultimo, with regard to the
"39 faulty cells which have accumulated in your Repair
"Department during the past few months.

"We note you are making arrangements for these
"39 cells to be returned to us, and as arranged, we
"will have the cells dismantled, select any serviceable
"parts and make up as many cells out of these as
"possible.

"We note the arrangements made with Mr. McKinnon
"and confirmed by you as to the procedure to be
"adopted in future by your Repair Department. We are
"quite in agreement with the proposals put forward and
"will work on these lines in future.
