Thinning down the control brush holder should be carried out in such a way that the new centre line of the new brush is retarded as compared with the centre line of the old brush by an amount equal to 1/4 of the thickness of the old brush. This is equivalent to using the more retarded half of the present brush. Then with a similar range of adjustment as we have at present, we shall have a suitable range for adjusting purposes. EFC. | ||
