Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 400 By.1/EIM.11.8.41. re 2 - B - 50. I enjoyed driving 2 - B - 50 very much the other weekend and it is of interest that I succeeded in pushing the speedometer needle off the dial at one point. If the speedometer is 5% fast it still represents a good performance and I should like your comments on the matter. This speed was obtained across the last dip on the Ashbourne Road before the Ashbourne Road Island. Incidentally, you seem to have removed the majority of the bugs which I mentioned were in it when I last drove it. Its fuel consumption also seems to be excellent considering the size of the body.
