RE NEW TYPE S1 EXIDE HYDROMETER.

This hydrometer is quite good and is better to use than the type which is being issued now.

The square flange on the rubber nozzle, which is in one piece, is useful in preventing the hydrometer from rolling.

The glass barrel is drawn out from its centre to a taper and this eliminates the flaw at this point which has been so eminent in the other type. The float has a much better scale and is easily legible, it also reads accurately when compared with our standard.
