Y 235. To By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} From Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to Wor. {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 5/KT.13.3.31. HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBERS. Schemes are now in hand to make the existing shock absorbers free from complaints. Under the circumstances we recommend that we put no more dampers into production until we have the improvements available which are at present going through. If it is necessary at any time to keep up continuity of production, we will be able to specify what can be made without producing scrap.
