RECEIVED 1931 MAR 18 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} γ 235. BY3/G.17.3.31. HYDRAULIC SHOCK DAMPERS. -------------------------- H: If there are really tangible schemes available we would like to employ them at once on the 20/25 HP. We have already told the Works to go slow and work from 'hand to mouth' on these parts, pending new designs becoming available, but judging from the number of designs replacing each other in series we have nothing we can really adopt, it all seems in a state of flux. We are, of course, most anxious for the L.H. chassis and apparently the last scheme for using a split piston, which we have in hand, may be what you have in mind. BY. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} BM | ||
