E. {Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} XL305 Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 3/LG28.12.21. EXHAUST HEATED THROTTLE. We have found that it is very difficult to make the exhaust connection when it is arranged as shown on the LeC. drawing. The connection we refer to is the exhaust feed in the throttle which comes between the two cylinder blocks. We find that it is very much more convenient if, instead of having the double bend in the pipe, the connection on the throttle is put on an angle. The experimental one we have had running about has been made in this way. We have also altered the throttles going through to be made in a similar manner. We must do this in order to get at the nut to tighten it up. Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 1804 MADE AT CROXLEY | ||
