3001 HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. On the Continental P.III engine we are deleting the top water rails, as you are aware. The necessary outlets, etc. at the end of the cylinder head have been made; however, no provision is made for a water feed to the hot spot box. Will you, therefore have the necessary flanges and pipes made to feed the box from the front outlet flange on 'A' side head, and the rear outlet flange on 'B' side head, and blank off the other two outlet flanges as these will not be needed. These parts will be required when the Continental engine is fitted to the chassis. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Std. | ||
