S/W. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c.c. to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}18/KW4.1.37. Phantom III Continental Chassis. Having ascertained the situation from Gry{Shadwell Grylls} in your absence on Friday last, and learned that you could despatch the chassis minus engine and gearbox to Barkers any time now, I had a chat with Mr.Munro on Saturday morning to find out whether the absence of the chassis in their Works would hinder their progress, and if not when they would like to have the chassis to help them to make more rapid progress with the completion of the car than otherwise. Mr.Munro admitted that he was not waiting for the chassis but said he would go closely into the matter on Monday morning and get in touch with me. As soon as I have any news from him I will let you know. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Lurb | ||
