Dear Fossett,

Many thanks for your letter of the 11th November and the curve showing the variation of the compression ratio with different octane numbered fuels.

It does not exactly bear out our own findings, but we have not done the test scientifically. When we are a little less rushed on "bread-and-butter" jobs, we may have time to check up on the Bentley with various compression ratios.
