SCUTTLE SEPARATION.

I give you below an extract from the Minutes of the Meeting of the Coachbuilding Sub-Committee held on the 11th inst., at which were present LHS.{Lord Herbert Scott}(in the Chair) C.S.T and Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders}

"Memo BY3/P9723 was read. In this BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} asks for particulars of our experience with the suggested isolation scheme. In reply he is to be told that it has been used on LHS{Lord Herbert Scott}'s old car, number 2.LW. for three years, during which period the car has covered over 40,000 miles, with complete success and no apparent disadvantages either mechanical or from the point of view of appearance. It is also adopted on Mr Hartridge's car No. 55.LK.{L. King} Barkers trial car, Lord Wargrave's car No. 25-LK{L. King}, and LHS{Lord Herbert Scott}'s new car No.14-LK.{L. King}
