Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 23rd. instant with reference to proposed application of Long 12.CB. clutch to your Phantom III cars, and in this connection would confirm our telephone conversation of Saturday morning last, the 26th. instant, wherein we advised that we had been in cable communication with the Long Manufacturing Company, who advise us that no centrifugal assistance is obtained with release mechanism on the above model clutch.

We are further advised by subsequent cable that the clutch in question makes a very satisfactory application on the Packard 12-cylinder car, which, we understand, has the same torque output as the Phantom III.

N.R.C

The Writer will be pleased to call upon you to discuss this matter in greater detail.

In the meantime we shall be pleased to hear if you would care for us to obtain samples of the above type clutch.

We are,

Yours faithfully,
BORG & BECK COMPANY LIMITED.
