Elliott Brothers point out that, as far as they can see, the Zero Corrector on their instrument is identical with that on the Weston, and the method of fixing is practically the same. They therefore are rather at a loss to understand our complaint that the glass had cracked, we thought, due to the way in which the Zero Corrector was passed through the glass face.
