X1032 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Smth.12/KW. 6th September,1935. Messrs. Solex Ltd., 223-231, Marylebone Road, LONDON, N.W.1. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 4th inst., and regret that owing to the writer having been absent from the Works for the last few weeks, your earlier letters have not been acknowledged. Regarding the Governor Carburetter which we had on test, we found this to surge over a wide range of power outputs, and we do not see how it could have been satisfactory on the road. We regret that owing to pressure of other work we do not see our way to conduct further tests on the instrument at the moment. We have, however, noted your remarks, and shall bear the matter in mind. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
