OUR REF. HCM/ET

4th September, 1935.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

For the attention of Mr.F.Ll.Smith. SMITH

Dear Sir,

Re Solex Governor Carburettor.

Further to our letter of July 26th our Technical Dept. wrote again on August 10th for the attention of Mr.Lidsey. We hope this letter, giving the further particulars of the functioning of the Solex Governor Carburettor, has reached Mr.F.Ll.Smith, as we are particularly anxious for you to have this instrument working under absolutely satisfactory conditions.

We would appreciate hearing from you as to when a test could be carried out.

It might interest you to know that the Government Depts. are specifying Solex Governor carburettors, and they had unlimited tests before giving this specification.

We shall look forward to hearing from you, and the writer will gladly come up to Derby any day, and go into the matter more fully.

Assuring you of our close co-operation,

Yours faithfully,

For SOLEX LTD.
H.C.Mills.
