Dear Rothes,

Thank you for your letter of the 28th February.

I think I shall be available any day next week.

I have heard nothing from Captain Dugdale since we fitted the water excluders to his front brakes. As this was a purely experimental modification, I am particularly anxious to know whether we were successful in achieving our object, as there are only one or two sets of these parts in existence.

We should like two sets of your new India tread tyres for the Bentley at Derby as soon as possible, i.e., the ones which you have produced to compete with the Dunlop "90", giving improved wear. We are passing you our official order for these.

Yours sincerely,
