FORT DUNLOP ERDINGTON BIRMINGHAM 24 Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., DERBY. For the attention of S.H.Grylls, Esq. 10th January, 1939. Dear Sirs, Referring to our conversation on the 7th instant, we understand that the 6.50-16 4 ply covers are in service in France, and we should be very appreciative if you could arrange for their return after they have served their useful life. If you could also provide us with details of the service conditions under which they have operated it would be most helpful. We appreciate that the position regarding the adoption of a 4 or a 6 ply cover for this chassis has not yet been finalised, but we would make a strong recommendation for the latter type. Yours faithfully, For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD. [Signature] Manager - Car Manfrs. Division.
