Grylls, Esq., Dear Sirs, Following your telephone conversation of this morning, we have made arrangements to send over to France, 2. 6.50-19 road racing covers and tubes, and 2. 5.50-18 road racing covers and tubes, similar to those which were sent to you at Derby at the beginning of this month. These left our Factory at one o'clock to-day, and have gone to London by passenger train so that they will be in time to catch to-night's airmail which leaves Croydon at 7 o'clock. It is hoped that the tyres will be in Paris at about 9.30 this evening. In order to avoid any difficulty in clearing at Le Bourget Aerodrome, we have addressed them to our own Paris Head Office, and have 'phoned to our officials there, so that they can make arrangements to collect the tyres and have them delivered as you requested to Mr. Sleator, c/o Franco Britannique Autos Ltd, 12, Avenue Georges Cinq, Paris, 8. Our officials in Paris promised to 'phone Mr. Sleator, but in order to make quite certain that there is no mistake over the delivery, we have sent a confirmatory wire to Mr. Sleator as follows :- " Francbrit, Paris 86.
