Dear Sirs,

"Cylo" Silencers.

We are in receipt of your letter of the 15th inst. and must really apologise to you for the delay in sending forward the sample Silencer, which we had quite expected to do a week or two since.

Unfortunately, however, the cut-out has caused us still more trouble, in that we tried all round Coventry to get the necessary work done for us, but in spite of various promises made to us these were not fulfilled. We are, therefore, making this cut-out now in our own experimental works here in London, and would say that the Silencer itself has long since been finished. We are sparing no effort to urge this work on, and you may rest assured that we will do all we possibly can to let you have the Silencer complete next week.

Yours faithfully,

LID{A. J. Lidsey}
