To Lr. {Mr Ellor} from Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to Lr {Mr Ellor} /Lov. {Mr Lovesey} c. to Lr {Mr Ellor} /Wst. c. to Lr {Mr Ellor} /Cntl. c. to HPS. {Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 1290 Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 14/MH. {M. Huckerby} 8.2.40. With reference to Lr {Mr Ellor} /Wst.11/EW.5.2.40. we agree with the safety regulations which you have compiled for the Cold Room. In view of the fact, however, that this Cold Chamber was built as part of the equipment of the Chassis Division and that we are responsible for it's maintenance, we feel that there has been a deplorable lack of consideration for cleanliness shown by the other Departments to whom this piece of equipment is loaned. Unless some permanant improvement is shown we feel there will be no alternative but to blacklist testers who cannot clean up after them and exclude them from using this piece of apparatus. We shall be glad to have your support in this matter. Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
