C.H. Brooks, Esq.,

WESTMINSTER. S.W.1.

Dear Brooks,

We carefully checked over your Managing Director's P.III car, and did not find anything materially wrong with its performance.

There is no doubt that in the condition in which we received it, it was capable of 90 m.p.h. which is all we can claim for a P.III with a standard gear ratio. Under favourable Continental conditions they will do more than this with a standard axle. If your Managing Director is really interested in maximum speed he wants a high gear ratio, but we believe, for ordinary conditions acceleration is more important than top speed. It maybe that you will notice a slight improvement now that the necessary adjustments have been made to the car.

I should like to thank the Directors of the Light Production for the very charming etching which they sent me at Christmas.

Yours sincerely,
