C O P Y. S/W. {Sales / Derby Works} C1/C14.9.26. Re GSK.68 - J.H. Tangye Esq. Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} 4/W11.9.26. Hm {Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} /WW14/W10.9.26. The Standardisation Sheet for this modification to the 20HP. steering has now been signed and has been returned to Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} to-day. Presumably, therefore, there is nothing to prevent your making the necessary modifications to this car of Mr. Tangye's. There is one point, however, I am not quite clear upon and that is as to why it is necessary to fit a new complete steering column, when the Standardisation Sheet in question (No. 5430) specifies certain work at a cost of £8. 4. Od. if done at Derby. If you will please let us know that the Standardisation Sheet now enables you to make this alteration to Mr. Tangye's car we will communicate with Mr. Tangye and ask him to allow us to do it. Perhaps you will please let us hear from you by return. C. | ||
