PN.{Mr Northey} thought Spinney Ventilators may be an advantage and suggested consideration might be given to them again. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} promised to look into the matter, stating that they were dropped owing to appearance.

19-G.IV. had the pivotted-type of shutter in the bonnet. PN.{Mr Northey} thought this type of shutter may have accounted for some of the heat, and said there may have been an improvement with louvres.

Petrol Gauges & Taps on Dash unreliable. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} explained the troubles he had experienced with these. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} promised to investigate and report to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}

Period (? Engine) experienced by Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} in France. Sel2/SS{S. Smith}9.8.32. item 12.
Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} spoke of this and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} promised to endeavour to trace it for Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} and let him know if it is an engine period. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} suggested it may be in the Silencer.

Item 6 on Agenda. (taken out of order).
General position re adjustable shock dampers.
He mentioned the general scheme from WW. Will be on test in about 2 weeks.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} stated that the scheme on 19-G.IV. is very good, and wondered whether we could get it through R.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} should take 19-G.IV. to R.{Sir Henry Royce} for him to see the scheme in question.

Item 7 on Agenda.
Re Impossible 1st speed Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}?/T5.7.32. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} stated the improved design from W.W., fitted on a 20/25, was going through its tests very well. Agreed Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} should issue a Standardisation Sheet for it.

Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} asked if the modification involved much alteration to the box. Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} will report.

It was mentioned that a new design has been got out for the 40/50. C. was present from here.
