1021 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/EAG.18/SW. 16th June, 1941. The Empire Rubber Co., Dunstable, Beds. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of June 12th with reference to door glass buffer No.RB.{R. Bowen}12140. Will you please make a single cavity mould and supply us with six buffers as soon as possible. We should like this in a black waxed rubber and to be as soft as possible. Our official order for this will follow. Enclosed is a print showing a section of a weatherstrip for a sliding rood No.RB.{R. Bowen}15118, the length of this will be 40". It is to be used as a seal between the sliding panel and the fixed panel on a Saloon roof. We shall be glad to know if you have any sponge rubber of a similar section that would be suitable for the purpose. We shall require two lengths of this. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE, LTD., | ||
