19-EX DYNAMO

It has been decided that we shall fit in place of the Bosch dynamo now on the above car, a Rolls-Royce 40/50 dynamo suitably converted into a plain shunt machine and run in conjunction with a C.A.V. regulator.

It will therefore be necessary to convert a 40/50 machine into a plain shunt. This will entail re-winding the field winding with finer gauge wire which we will specify and taking out the control brush.

Will you please arrange for a machine to be converted as quickly as possible so that we can adjust it suitably in conjunction with a C.A.V. regulator which we have ready for 19-EX.
