For your information. 4020a BUY 272 Agents Copy Rolls Royce Ltd. FB/THF. 9th May, 1938. Messrs. Morris Commercial Cars Ltd., Adderley Park, Birmingham, 8. Attention of W.J.Artis, Esq. Dear Sirs, With further reference to your letter of the 11th April in connection with Main Bearings for your V.E.B. type engine, we would state that the dies and production of these bearings are now well in hand, and in your letter of the 11th inst., we note that the crank-shaft is unhardened. It would, however, help us very considerably in producing these bearings if we knew the material from which the crankshaft is made, and also the Brinell hardness. Yours faithfully, For WELLWORTHY PISTON RINGS LTD., Technical Manager. | ||
