To Hm.{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} L4117 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG12. 8. 26. L4426 Chassis No. 117-MC - Summers. hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs}5/W1C. 8. 26. The objection we have to the double Hartford shock absorber is that although the friction surfaces are double the bearing surfaces remain the same and also the weight of the shock absorber is increased. There is also less clearance between the petrol tank and the brake drum. Providing there is no risk of these shock absorbers fouling, we see no reason why Mr. Summers should not fit them if he wishes to. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
