We have carried out tests to determine whether the standard jack is satisfactory when used with balloon tyres. We find that the range of the jack is quite sufficient with the 6" and 6.75" tyres which are the ones which we are likely to be using. It cannot however be used satisfactorily with the 7.3" tyres.
